Marble Arch Caves, Florencecourt, Co Fermanagh 028 66 348855

The Marble Arch Caves are one of Europe's finest show caves allowing visitors to explore a fascinating underworld of rivers, waterfalls, winding passages and lofty chambers. There are guided tours of the caves, including an underground boat journey (weather permitting) daily, lasting approx, 1hour 15 minutes. These boat trips are suitable for people of any age and of average fitness. The reception area at the Marble Arch Caves incorporates an informative display area, lecture theatre, souvenir shop and snack bar.

Cavan & Leitrim Railway, Station Road, Dromod, Co. Leitrim 00353, 78385599

The line opened in 1887 and was closed in 1959. It has been lovingly restored as a fully operational steam railway. Today, half a mile of railway has been rebuilt to a temporary terminus at Clooncolry. It's a good day out for all the family to remember. Your day would consist of : 

Guided tour of the workshop and engine shed
A 20 minute "round trip" on the Vintage Train       
Visit the restored ticket office and waiting room
Souvenir shop and Tea Room are also available to visit
 
The Cavan & Leitrim Railway is located just off the main 
Dublin to Sligo road. (N4) Directly opposite the mainline 
station at Dromod. It is approximately an Hour's drive from 
Cavan.
